Jessamyn Edra


Jessamyn is a staff attorney with the Housing Rights program.  Prior to joining Advancing Justice – ALC, she was a civil litigator in private practice, focusing on securities class actions and internal investigations.  Jessamyn graduated from University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall), where she participated in the California Asylum Representation Clinic and the East Bay Community Law Center’s Clean Slate practice.  She also clerked for Bay Area Legal Aid’s public benefits practice and volunteered for the San Leandro Juvenile Justice Center’s Reading and Homework Hour.  She was a Fulbright Research Scholar in the Philippines.  Jessamyn received her B.A. with distinction in English from Stanford University.  She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and California.
