VISION ACT Zine: A Community-Led Movement to End ICE Transfers

December 10, 2021 Guides & Reports

2021 and Onward

A new zine created by Asian Americans Advancing Justice – Asian Law Caucus highlights the advocacy efforts of ICE Out of CA, a growing, multiracial coalition that is reimagining public safety and immigrant rights in California.

As a proud member of the coalition, we fight for justice with community members who are incarcerated or formerly incarcerated. We are holding our elected representatives accountable to a safe, thriving, and just future – and organizing with our neighbors, families, and communities to push forward systemic change. In the past year, we’ve come together to take on tough fights for justice and celebrate important wins along the way. Take a look back at 2021 with us and learn what’s coming in 2022.

There is a black and white picture of community members holding a sign that reads "Free them all" and a snippet of a letter written by a person who is incarcerated and threatened with ICE detention and deportation.
