As part of the San Francisco Immigrant Rights Defense Committee, Advancing Justice – ALC successfully advocated for the passage of the Due Process for All Ordinance in the City and County of San Francisco in 2013. This piece of legislation offers protection to immigrant community members from ICE holds (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) that are often used to detain and deport people. The documents available for download below provide further details about how the ordinance works.
