Palyn Hung Mitchell
is a Staff Attorney in our Workers’ Rights Program. Most recently, she helped win a
$4 million settlement for approximately 300 workers in a wage theft lawsuit against Burmese restaurant chain Rangoon Ruby. A passionate bike rider and fresh produce enthusiast, Palyn is also one of the only people in the office trusted to make coffee in the morning.

Boring: Dad came over as part of Taiwanese engineer brain drain and Mom followed a year later.

Being part of a changing, collective movement to effect change for underserved communities

What do you enjoy doing outside of your time at Advancing Justice – ALC?
Traveling with my family and watching the Celtics

Fun fact about you: After living in New York City for almost 14 years, I joined my now husband on his family farm in Iowa, where we were married and our smart, sweet, wacky daughter, Jade, was born.
