As a recognized leader in the Vietnamese American community, we invite you to a coffee meet and greet to celebrate the launch of the 2015 VABANC Law Foundation Fellows, Jacqueline Dan and David Ta.  We hope that you will share your insights and experiences in working with the Vietnamese American community. This important event will help us learn how to bring critical legal services to the most vulnerable in our community.

Our 2015 Fellows will spend the following year providing direct legal assistance to the underserved communities, including the Vietnamese American community, in Orange County and San Francisco Bay Area. Jacqueline Dan’s fellowship expands on her work with Southeast Asian immigrants challenging unlawful immigration detention or deportation. David Ta’s fellowship focuses on workers’ rights in the transportation industry, where workers are often mono-lingual immigrants. VABANC will also share information about their work with their free monthly Vietnamese-language legal clinics in Oakland and San Jose.

We hope you will be able to join us for this important event!
